Empowering lives through compassionate support
OSDHA is an indigenous local NGO. Non-profit non partial, non- political and voluntary organization based in Baidoa. To reach the most affected grass-root communities in south central Somalia effectively and efficiently, the necessity of local partnership in relief program appeared. Responding to the partnership need, a group of Somali intellectuals and well- wishers initiated in December 2020 a local non governmental organization called Organization for Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Aid (OSDHA)The organization has implemented during these period different projects including relief and emergency programs
and later improved into rehabilitation and developmental programs.
OSDHA is dedicated to promoting the rights and status of marginalized groups enabling them to seek and secure sustainable livelihoods to create a society that has equitable access to all opportunities. The organization maintains excellent relations with international and civil society organizations within the country in the various aspects of relief, rehabilitation, development, peace building and human rights.
Enhance the living standard of the societies to self-reliance and prosperity through provision of relief and development support, and promotion of the local capacities to address their needs in transparent and participative approaches.
We envision a day when there is no more poverty in the Horn of Africa and every person’s dignity is protected, especially those affected by human and natural crises.
